09 Schedule

At our last meeting we discussed scheduling and agreed to go to a 5 week schedule starting September 6. One problem here - that is Labor day weekend. I don't think we want our first games on that day! I say we move the first day of practice to August 24, with the first games weekend being 9/12 - 9/13. I know we wanted to try to give the weekend off for ISU Iowa, but think not having games on Sunday the 6th is a better choice.

Rule change Proposals

At the meeting held March 11 the following rules changes were discussed.

1. Addition of the wingback counter to the 5th grade "Playbook"
2. Addition of the halfback pass to the 6th grade "Playbook"
3. Allow 6th grade one "exotic" play per game.
4. Requiring formations at all levels to be balanced.
5. Allow High School age sidline coaches.
